We do not install. Delivery brings the machine to your address; what happens after that is yours to arrange, and this page is here so that is clear before you order rather than after.
What delivery includes
Delivery is to the address you give us. Freight items are delivered kerbside or to the nearest accessible doorway. The carrier does not unpack, connect, level, test or remove packaging, and does not take away an old appliance.
What needs a licensed trade
Anything that connects to a gas line or is hard-wired to a circuit needs a licensed installer, and in most jurisdictions that is a legal requirement rather than a recommendation. That covers gas ranges and cooktops, and any appliance without a plug. Water connections for dishwashers and refrigerators with ice makers are more forgiving but still worth a plumber if you are not certain.
Installing gas or electrical work yourself can void the manufacturer's warranty as well as your home insurance. We have no view on who you use — only that it should be someone qualified.
Measure before you order
The single most common reason an appliance goes back is that it does not fit. Before ordering, measure:
- the opening — width, height and depth, at the narrowest point
- the route in — doorways, stair turns and hallway width
- the clearance the manufacturer specifies at the back and sides
- the door swing, and whether the hinge can be reversed
- the supply — outlet type, circuit rating, gas or water connection

Outdoor equipment
Petrol machines ship without fuel or oil and need both before first use; the manufacturer's manual specifies the grades. Battery machines ship with the battery and charger stated on the product page and nothing more — a second battery is a separate purchase. Read the manual before the first start, particularly on chain saws.
